Modular switches for domestic installations: the HAUS LINE range

Security, compactness and reliability for home protection

When designing and installing a domestic electrical system, the choice of modular switches is essential to ensure an adequate level of safety.

Overloads, short circuits and current leakage can compromise the proper functioning of the system and put people and equipment at risk.

It is therefore important to be able to rely on devices that are reliable, correctly sized and suited to the characteristics of the various domestic circuits.

To meet these needs, Elettra presents HAUS LINE, a comprehensive range of modular switches for domestic installations, designed to simplify the work of installers, designers and distributors.

The range includes circuit breakers, residual current circuit breakers and pure residual current devices, with rated currents from 6A to 40A and breaking capacities of 4.5kA and 6kA.

To complete the range, dedicated connection strips are also available, designed to simplify wiring, distribute power in an organised manner and adapt to different switch configurations.

HAUS LINE: a range designed to simplify home security

The HAUS LINE range comprises a variety of solutions designed to meet the key protection requirements of domestic electrical installations.

The available configurations allow you to choose the device based on the circuit to be protected, the space available inside the control panel and the type of protection required.

Thanks to the range of solutions available, comprising one or two modules, HAUS LINE enables the creation of neat, safe and easily manageable systems.

Circuit breakers

The DCC41N+, DG40+ and EV60 series circuit breakers protect circuits against overloads and short circuits.

They trip when the current exceeds the specified values, helping to prevent overheating and damage to the conductors and connected equipment.

Compact 1P+N circuit breakers developed on a single module.

The series is available with rated currents ranging from 6A to 32A and a breaking capacity of 4.5kA.

The compact design reduces the space taken up inside the switchboard, leaving more room for additional protective devices.

Circuit breakers available in 1P+N and 2-pole configurations, comprising two modules.

The range includes models with rated currents from 6A to 40A and a breaking capacity of 4.5kA.

1P+N and 2-pole circuit breakers designed across two modules.

They are available with rated currents ranging from 6A to 40A and a breaking capacity of 6 kA, for domestic applications requiring a higher breaking capacity.

Residual current circuit breakers

Residual current circuit breakers combine protection against overloads, short circuits and earth faults in a single device.

This configuration protects the electrical circuit and people, whilst at the same time making the best use of the available space inside the control panel.

1P+N residual current circuit breakers designed as two modules.
The range includes models from 6A to 40A, with a breaking capacity of 4.5kA, a residual current sensitivity of 30mA and
classes A and AC.

Pure residual current circuit breakers

Pure residual current devices detect any current leakage to earth and cut off the circuit when the set threshold is exceeded.

They must be coordinated with devices designed to provide protection against overloads and short circuits.

2-pole pure residual current circuit breakers designed as two modules.

They are available with rated currents of 25A and 40A and a differential sensitivity of 30mA.

The DAG+ series is available in Class A, whilst the DCG+ series is available in Class AC.

The availability of these two classes makes it possible to identify the most suitable device based on the characteristics of the circuits and the connected equipment.

Compact solutions to optimise your telephone system

In domestic electrical installations, the space available inside the distribution board is often a key factor in the choice of equipment.

For this reason, HAUS LINE includes solutions based on one or two modules, which allow for a more efficient organisation of the protection of the various circuits in the home.

In particular, the 1P+N configuration on a single module of the DCC41N+ series helps to reduce the overall footprint and leaves more space for other protection devices or for any future system expansions.

The modular design of the range therefore makes it possible to create more organised, efficient and easily manageable switchboards.

Terminal blocks for neat and simplified wiring

Various types of busbars are available for connecting HAUS LINE modular switches; these have been designed to distribute the power supply in an organised manner and to simplify wiring within the distribution board.

For the DG40+, EV60, DDM45+, DCG+ and DAG+ series, the EXS terminal blocks (with PIN terminals) and EXG terminal blocks (with FORK terminals) are available, both featuring a pitch of 17.6 mm.

The choice between the two options depends on the switch’s configuration and the type of connection on the device.

EVS terminal blocks, with PIN-type terminals and a pitch of 17.8 mm, can only be used with 1P and 1P+N configurations, including the compact DCC41N+ series, which is based on a single module.

Connection bars designed for residential use are available in models featuring:

  • rated current 63A and cross-section 10mm²
  • rated current 80A and cross-section 16mm²

The availability of various configurations, including cut-to-size versions, makes it possible to adapt the connection to the characteristics of the switchboard, reduce the amount of manual wiring and achieve a tidier and more functional power distribution.

In this way, Elettra offers a practical solution to speed up installation and improve the internal organisation of the electrical switchboard, even in the residential sector.

Features designed for installation and maintenance

In addition to its electrical performance, the HAUS LINE range incorporates visual and functional features designed to make it easier to control the devices and manage the system.

The ON/OFF status indicator allows you to check the switch position immediately during installation, inspection and maintenance work.

In the DDM45+ series, the blue flag indicates that the trip was caused by a differential fault, making it easier to identify the possible cause of the trip.

All residual current devices in the range are also fitted with a test button, which can be used to check that they are working correctly on a regular basis.

The key technical details are clearly displayed on the front of the product, enabling the fitter to quickly identify:

  • rated current
  • response curve
  • right to suspend
  • differential class
  • minimum operating temperature

These features help to simplify the installation, testing and maintenance of domestic electrical systems.

Certified quality for domestic systems

HAUS LINE modular switches, manufactured in Italy and Germany, hold
internationally recognised certifications, including IMQ and AENOR.

Compliance with European standards confirms the emphasis placed on the quality, safety and reliability of the devices.

Each product is accompanied by technical information and specific documentation

Certificates, declarations of conformity, images and dimensioned drawings are easily accessible, to support designers, installers and distributors throughout the various stages of the project
